Arcadia Corporate Merchandise Limited is committed to the prevention of pollution and continual

improvement to reduce our effect on the environment both as an operational company and via the products that we distribute to the Promotional Product marketplace.

In striving to achieve this commitment we will: 

•           Meet all necessary legislative, regulatory and consent requirements that relate to our products and our business. All products sold by Arcadia adhere to the EU market legislation to ensure that they are RoHS, WEEE and REACH compliant.

•           Promote all recycled and recyclable products supplied by Arcadia via our website at: www.arcadiaonline.co.uk/ecofriendly

•           Keep informed of environmental issues and, in particular, those which are of

direct relevance to our business

•           Continue to raise the awareness of all our employees, the effect of their actions

on, and their responsibility to the environment; by communication, discussion

and training

•           Minimise our environmental impact by the operation of suitable waste minimisation and recycling schemes

•           Manage our building and grounds in an environmentally sensitive manner

•           Where ever practicable make use of best environmental practice when planning and developing new and existing operations

•           Operate a thoughtful purchasing policy by selecting, wherever practicable, materials and services which are less damaging to the environment

•           Encourage customers to use FSC certified paper in all Paper Promotional Products and avoid using wood products from the following sources:

•             Illegally harvested wood

•           Genetically modified wood

•           Wood originating in forests with serious social conflicts

•           Wood originating from uncertified High Value Forests
